Portrait / Headshot styles can vary greatly.  Over the last couple of weeks I have gone on location in Washington, DC, Reston, VA and Columbia, MD for a number of clients.  In additional to taking portraits in my studio, I have setup a temporary studio in a conference room or hallway to take more traditional studio portraits, I have walked around my client's office with the executives and have taken environmental portraits, and for magazines or newspapers I get asked to take editorial portraits in an environment that is germane to the article that is being written. 

Here are a few examples of these different styles:
