Angel and Nick's Engagement Photographs in Georgetown | Washington, DC Engagement Photographer

Angel and Nick while they were serving in the military over in Cambridge, England.  They wanted to take their engagement photographs at a location that reminded them of Cambridge.  They saw some of my prior engagement photographs taken in Georgetown and decided that would be the perfect location.

We started at 7AM, bright and early, and it was a wonderful morning.  They make a really great couple.  It was great talking to them as we walked along the canal as well as the streets of Georgetown.

Sister - Sister Family Photography in Georgetown | Washington DC Photographer

Two twin sisters who go to college in the Washington, DC area thought it would be fun to have their photographs taken in and around the Georgetown area.  We spent about 90 minutes walking around Georgetown.  The sisters were a lot of fun and we got some great photos.

Georgetown Engagement Photography | Washington DC Photographer

One of my new, favorite spots for photography lately has been in Georgetown in Washington, DC.  I have done about four photography session with four different couples over the last couple of months.  Three of the four couples lived out of town and were just visiting friends and family in the area.

Emily and Matthew are both from Texas (and will be getting married in Texas on 3/17/2012 as you can see by the bottom of their shoes), but they currently live in the DC area.  We spent the entire time along the C&O Canal in Georgetown.  It is such a beautiful area to do engagement photographs.  You would never know by looking at the pictures that the hustle and bustle of Georgetown is a few hundred feet away.

One Year Anniversary Photographs in Georgetown - Washington, DC Photographer

Chris and Josh were married last year on a tropical island.  Their wedding photographer did an okay job, but they wanted some really nice photos of the two of them.  They live out of town currently, but are from the Washington, DC area and they were in town for a few days and wanted the photographs to have a DC theme to them.  We discussed a few ideas and decided on Georgetown as our backdrop.  Even though I have been a photographer in the Washington, DC area for a number of years, I haven't done a lot of photography in Georgetown.

We walked around Georgetown for about 90 minutes and just stopping at places that had interesting light or overall character that we thought would make for a nice portrait.  Chis and Josh are a wonderful couple, they were a pleasure to spend some time with, and Georgetown provided a wonderful environment for our pictures.

Ben Bernanke at Georgetown University | Washington DC Photographer

Federal Reserve Chair Ben Bernanke spoke at the 'New Building Blocks for Jobs and Economic Growth' Conference at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.  I was asked to photograph the conference by one of the sponsors, The Conference Board.

"Government support for technology research and development must supplement private market research in order to create growth in the economy," Federal Reserve Chair Ben Bernanke said during his speech at Georgetown.  John Mayo, professor of economics, business and public policy at the business school got an opportunity to great Chairman Bernanke before the presentation.
